Hylaine was founded in 2017 in Charlotte, North Carolina when CEO Adam Boitnott had a vision for a project-based, high-touch technology firm built on integrity. Hylaine has grown at an astounding rate over its five years, allowing for the expansion of not only the team and our clients, but our physical locations to now include Raleigh, NC, Atlanta, GA, Dallas-Fort Worth, TX, and Indianapolis, IN. In 2020, 2021, and 2022 Hylaine was named a Best Place to Work based on anonymous responses from team members about the workplace and culture. In 2022, Hylaine landed at #512 on the Inc. 5000 list, a prestigious publication naming America’s fastest-growing privately owned companies. Among other accolades over the years, Hylaine was voted IT Services Company of the Year in 2022 by the North Carolina Tech Association.

Meet Adam

Adam W. Boitnott, CEO of Hylaine, is a proud Virginia Tech grad with a love for his family, a passion for technology, and an enthusiasm for sports. Adam recently celebrated 20 years of marriage to his rock-star wife and fellow Hokie, Dawn. They have two incredible daughters, Hylton and Maclaine.

In his early career, Adam succeeded in the IT field and excelled in various leadership roles by growing revenue, client relationships, and company culture. Adam founded Hylaine in 2017 under his daughter's namesake with a vision for a project-based, high-touch technology firm based on trust and integrity. It's a company that combines all of Adam's success in the technology world with his unique insight into client's needs.

Even with all the responsibilities of running his own company, Adam still finds time to have fun. Adam and Dawn are integral supporters of the Virginia Tech Women's Basketball Program and frequently travel to games across the US. In addition, Adam enjoys traveling with his family and attending sporting events in his free time.
